Kalam (ISSN 0853-9510-p, 2540-7759-e), is a journal published by Ushuluddin Faculty Raden Intan State Islamic University of Lampung, Indonesia. It was first published in 1991. The electronic version of Kalam publication has started since 2012 at http://ejournal.radenintan.ac.id/index.php/Kalam.
In the beginning, KALAM used to publish three times a year. Yet, since 2007 KALAM decided to publish twice a year, each edition of which contained ten articles.
KALAM has focused on issues and themes related to Islamic studies, especially the basic sciences of Islam. In the beginning, this focus broadly included the study of the Qur’an and the Hadith, and Islamic Philosophy, Theology, and Mysticism. Yet, since June 2019, the focus of KALAM became more specific, that is, on Islamic philosophy, Islamic theology, and Islamic mysticism.
