Abstract


This research was conducted to determine the influence of the headmaster's leadership, organizational culture, and teacher professionalism partially and simultaneously on the performance of Aliyah Madrasah teachers in Bandar Lampung. The main instrument used for collecting data in this study is a questionnaire. The population of 148 teachers from Aliyah Madrasas in Bandar Lampung numbered 16, those with state status numbered 2, and those with private status totaling 14 madrasas with a total sample of 103 teachers. While the time of the study was carried out in August 2018 to September 2018. Data collected was analyzed quantitatively using path analysis.
Based on the research, it is known that: (1) The leadership of the headmaster and organizational culture have a partial and simultaneous influence on the professionalism of the Aliyah Madrasah teachers in Bandar Lampung; (2) Principal leadership, organizational culture and professionalism of teachers have a partial and simultaneous influence on the performance of Aliyah Madrasah teachers in Bandar Lampung and also have a direct influence and indirect influence through teacher professionalism; (3) Comparison of the direct effect and indirect influence between the headmaster's leadership and organizational culture and teacher's professionalism on teacher performance results show that direct influence dominates over indirect influences. So that to improve the performance of teachers it is better to use the direct influence of each variable.
