Mikroba Agen Biodegradasi Lignoselulosa: Analisis Bibliometrik

Nurhaida Widiani

Abstract

Lignocellulosic biomass is an abundant and geographically diverse source of renewable energy, with great potential for meeting energy demands. Lignocellulosic waste can be degraded and transformed into more useful products such as compost, biochar, biogas, and biofuels. Microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes) are known to have the ability to degrade cellulose waste. The complex degradation intermediates and metabolic pathways require further study. This research aims to describe the research trends related to lignocellulosic biodegradation using the Web of Science database from 2008 to 2022. Data collection was done using the keywords degradation, lignocellulose, and microorganisms. VOSviewer© software was used to analyze the relationship between research topics, the most frequently researched topics, main researchers on lignocellulosic biodegradation, and countries with the highest number of scientific publications related to the field. The results show that cellulose, lignocellulose, lignin, degradation, microbial consortium, and composting are still trending topics for research. The highest number of publications occurred in 2021, with 71 scientific works (15.44%), while the lowest was in 2009, with 12 scientific works (2.61%). China produced the highest number of scientific publications.
