Studi Eksploratif Dampak Virus Corona pada Sektor Pendidikan Dasar: Pendidik dan Peserta Didik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pandemi virus corona terhadap pembelajaran di sektor pendidikan dasar di Indonesia dari perspektif pendidik dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus melalui pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat mengenai dampak virus corona terhadap pembelajaran di sektor pendidikan dasar. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah enam orang yang terdiri dari tiga orang pendidik dan tiga orang peserta didik sekolah dasar. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur online dengan media Google Form. Proses pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dari segi keberhasilan, pendidik merasa pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama pembelajaran sebagian besar hanya berkisar 45% - 50% dari keseluruhan materi yang telah dijelaskan. Bagi peserta didik, pembelajaran online yang telah dilakukan terasa menyenangkan. Namun, masih ada beberapa kendala dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tatap muka. Dengan melihat situasi ini, pendidik harus mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang efektif yang dapat digunakan selama pandemi dan memberikan secara proporsional antara pembelajaran tatap muka dan pembelajaran online berdasarkan standar protokol kesehatan.References
