Author Guidelines


The journal invites scholars and experts working in all disciplines in the Sufism and Psychotherapy. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.

Title
The title should be concise and focus to describe the content of the article. It may apply an attractive and creative title in order to attract the readers. It has maximum 15 words if in Bahasa Indonesia or 10 words in English. It should be typed in all capital letters, center and using Times New Roman font with size 12 and Bold.


Abstract

All information about the formatting requirements is contained in this document. Please review it carefully. You may use the document as a template and copy/paste your paper content here – this is probably the easiest option. Several styles have been included in this template to facilitate formatting – you may find it easier to use them instead of formatting each segment differently. Note that it is important to adhere to the requirements exactly, as this will form the camera-ready version that will be used to produce the Proceedings. The limitations on the length of the document are as follows. The abstract should 150 – 250 words and written in English.

Author
It must state full name of the author without title, institution of the author’s work/study and e-mail of the author.

Keywords
The key words may take from research variables, the characteristics of research subjects and referred theory (minim um two words or more).

Introduction
The introduction is to describe background of the problem, the purpose and usefulness of the research, the study of theory and ends with the hypothesis (if any).

Research Method
It contains research types and designs, research variables, population and sample of research, data collection methods, data analysis methods (can be adapted according to the research approach used whether quantitative or qualitative).

Result And Discussion
The results and discussion should be fit according to the research approach. If using quantitative research approach will consist of descriptive statistics, assumption test results and hypothesis test results should be analyzed intelligently. If using qualitative approach will be in the form of the themes of the results of qualitative analysis conducted.

Conclusion
The conclusion is the answer of the purpose of the research. It is not the summary of the research results. Conclusions and suggestions should be clear and concisely based on results and discussion.

References
References should be written alphabetically and chronologically. It is recommended to use mendeley. The references is not bibliography, therefore, it must contain all sources referenced in the scripts and does not need to mention unused sources. Some examples

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
