Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Al-Mashrof accepts articles in any related subjects and any research methodology that meet the standards established for publication in the journal. The primary, but not exclusive, audiences are academicians, students, practitioners, and others interested in finance and Islamic Banking.

The primary criterion for publication in Al-Mashrof is the significance of the contribution an article makes to the literature and practice in Islamic Accounting area, i.e., the significance of the contribution and on the rigor of analysis and presentation of the paper. The acceptance decision is made based upon an independent review process that provides critically constructive and prompt evaluations of submitted manuscripts.

An objective of the Al-Mashrof is to promote the wide dissemination of the results of systematic scholarly inquiries into the broad field of Islamic Banking and Finance research. The Al-Mashrof invites manuscripts in the areas of: Islamic Banking, Islamic Finance, Islamic Public Finance, Islamic Monetary Policy, Islamic Fiscal Policy, Human Resource Management in Banking and Sharia Financial Institutions, Marketing Management in Banking and Sharia Financial Institutions,  Inovation Contract, Hybrid Contract, Investment in Banking, Islamic Microfinance, Islamic Capital Markets and Investments, Accounting for Islamic Banking and Insurance, Islamic Derivatives, Issues of Shari`ah Supervisory Boards, Sharia Compliant, Islamic Corporate Finance, Fintech and P2P Peer to Peer Lending in Islamic Finance, Regulations on Sharia Financial Institutions, Sukuk, Economic Crisis Policy on Sharia Banking.
