Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript accepted is written in standard Indonesian language or English
  2. The length of the manuscript is approximately 9 to 20 pages, written in A4 paper format, margins: top 3; left 3,6 cm; right 2,2 cm; bottom2,6 cm, one column, figure or table whose size cannot be reduced due to its readability), justified, single-spaced. Manuscript comprises five main headings: Pendahuluan (Introduction); Metode (Method); Hasil dan Pembahasan (Results and Discussion); Simpulan (Conclusions); Daftar Pustaka (References).
  3. The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible and must represent the content of the manuscript.
  4. Authors’ names are written below the title, followed by authors’ affiliation and e-mail address.
  5. The abstract is written in two languages: Indonesian and English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract should not exceed 300 words for each language format. It should clearly state the background problem, the research purposes, the brief methods, the main results/findings, and the conclusion.
  6. Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative to the article.
  7. IEEE style is used as a reference in the citation, references, and writing format since Vol. 3 No. 1 2020 (APA style 6th edition was used before, from Vol. 1 No.1 - Vol. 2 No. 3).
  8. The references of the article are in the form of journals and non-journals which are published in the last 10 years.
  9. The manuscript must be written following the Indonesian Journal of Science and Mathematics Education template.
  10. The manuscript must be in *.doc and sent to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you have not had any account yet; or click LOG IN if you have already had an account].
  11. All Author(s)' names and identity(es) must be completely embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the column of 'Bio Statement'). [if the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process and then enter each author's data.]
  12. All correspondences, information, and decisions for the submitted manuscripts are conducted through email was written in the manuscript and/or the emails used for the submission. The status of the manuscript can be checked in the OJS by logging into the journal.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

The Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted Indonesian Journal of Science and Mathematics Education (IJSME) for publication, copyright publishing of the article shall be assigned/transferred to Unit Riset dan Publikasi Ilmiah FTK UIN Raden Intan Lampung as Publisher of the journal. Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a 'Copyright Transfer Agreement'. An e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a 'Copyright Transfer Agreement' form by the online version of this agreement.

Indonesian Journal of Science and Mathematics Education and  Unit Riset dan Publikasi Ilmiah FTK UIN Raden Intan Lampung, the Editors and the Advisory International Editorial Board make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions or statements be published in the journal.
